You see, for years I have seen and warned companies regarding these very issues.  Each time my words were discarded, the company either ended up out of business, lost a major ($10 M+) contract, resulting in significant layoffs and risking getting into deeper trouble while bailing itself out of trouble with bad partnerships just to retain some degree of solvency, or risked losing up to $35M+ due to an unnecessary lack of organization and a subcontractor who consistently did not pay their numerous employees and vendors on time.  Even if companies like these do recover temporarily, the loss of faith by the customer is something that may never be restored.
